HALF OF ONE YEAR

Today, Garrett and I have been married for 6 months. I can't even believe it. Some days it feels like it was yesterday and others it feels like we've already been married forever. Either way it is great. So I figured it would be appropriate to put up some wedding pictures. Instead of just keeping them to myself I will share! So here is the first part of our day. My blog was made so that Garrett and I have something to look back on about our life someday and because we suck at keeping a journal. So sorry it is long with lots of pictures. But anyways... we had the best wedding day filled with friends, family, and I can't forget the perfect weather!

My cousin Chelsea Winterholler did both our wedding pictures and engagement pictures and I wouldn't have wanted anyone else. She was there from the very beginning to the very end and everywhere in between! My cousin Carson Rahlf did my hair and makeup and just like Chelsea I wouldn't have wanted anyone else. Carson did the perfect job and made me feel so beautiful. I'm lucky to be blessed with talented and awesome cousins!

So the morning of our wedding I got up at 7 so that my cousin Carson could come do my hair and make up and Chelsea came and took pictures of my dress and the rings.

After my mom finished getting all ready at the house we headed to pick up the flowers before heading to the temple to see Garrett. We met my Grandma and Grandpa Williams and handed off the flowers that we didn't need and then went to the temple. Garrett showed up and then Chelsea took him up the stairs and had him turned around so that he wouldn't see me when I walked up.

*Believe me when I say that he still hadn't seen me yet when we took this picture^^^*

So we were taking pictures before he did the first look and right as we were about to do it, it started sprinkling so we went into a panic and my mom went and got the umbrella, and my mom and Chelsea hid under the tree. He was dying. So the picture below was the last one before he saw me for the first time and it is one of my favorites!

Because we were getting married in the middle of summer we figured that August second might get a little warm, so we decided to do pictures before the sealing. Let me tell you, BEST IDEA WE EVER HAD. So we took some pictures and then both of our immediate families showed up to take pictures.

Happy 1/2 of a year! Part 2 will be here soon!
