While Garrett and I were engaged and going to school in Rexburg we would walk up to the temple some nights and we would act like we just got married... don't judge us. And he would always say I'm going to do a heel click when we come out. I didn't really know if I believed him but he really did it and it was the best!
*Walking out of the temple was so overwhelming because there were so many people there. So we got to go around a hug everyone and say hi!*
*Below is my cousin Carson who did my hair and make up*
*This is my Grandma Williams (my mom's mom) I cannot even begin to thank her enough for everything she did to help with our wedding before the day and on the day. Thank you for growing flowers just for the reception. They were beautiful! You are amazing! Thank you Grandma for helping my mom and I so much. I love you*
*This is everyone who was at the temple for us after*
*This is who came from Wyoming on Garrett's side of the family!*
*My side of the family and some friends*
*My Grandma and Grandpa Stott (dad's parents)*
*My Grandpa Stott who was able to seal us together for time and all eternity*
*My Grandma and Grandpa Williams (mom's parents)*
*On the left is Garrett's dad's parents and on the right is Garrett's mom's mom*
*This is Monte and Verdon, Garrett's great aunt and uncle*
After the temple we went to my Grandma Williams' house and had a little luncheon to get some food in us before we went to take some pictures and before setting up the reception. We went with Chelsea out to her parent's house. They had the prettiest wheat field and a cool barn that they let us use to take our pictures and I LOVE how they turned out.
*How cute is he?*
So after these pictures we were driving back into town and we decided to fill up with gas so that after the reception we wouldn't have to. Garrett and I went into the gas station to get him his Mountain Dew and the lady gave it to us for free. You wouldn't believe how happy that made us haha. So when all of you get married remember that people give you free stuff if you're in a wedding dress and suit.
Like I said in my last post we decided to take all of our family pictures before the wedding so everyone wouldn't have to suffer through the heat and honestly that was so smart. After the temple it was warm so we tried to take pictures fast. But the hottest part of our day was when we were taking pictures at my Aunt and Uncles. We got so lucky!
After we got his pop we stopped by the park to see everyone who was setting up. I am soo grateful to both of our families for all of the hard work they did on our wedding day. Everything turned out so perfectly!
*This is me telling Garrett "do NOT get this on my dress"*
*Garrett was really enjoying his cupcake*
*My hair from the back*
*My Aunt Julie and Uncle Jack gave us this tandem bike for our wedding gift! We love it*
*Mr. Bertsch and I at the reception*
*My dad and my Uncle Jim*
*Both of my grandmas*
Towards the end of the reception all of a sudden the wind came up really strong and everyone helped take everything down immediately and it was all down and in cars so fast. Then all of a sudden we had people cheering so clearly they were ready for us to leave..
Thank you to everyone who came and supported us on our wedding day. Thank you to everyone who sent us gifts, cards, or texts. We truly loved all of them. Thank you to our parents and siblings for all of their hard work that they did to help set up and take down everything. Thank you to everyone who traveled from far away to make it to our wedding. And thank you to Chelsea for taking all of these pictures for us to have forever. We love them and we love you! Thank you to my mom and grandma who put in so much time and effort before the wedding and on the wedding day to make it perfect. You guys did the best job! 6 months down eternity to go!
I adore you two. Seriously, that was the best day ever! Thanks for letting me tag along ALL day on your amazing wedding day! Love you!
