VALENTINES DAY WEEKEND

We had a 3 day weekend because of President’s Day today so we headed to Billings. Only my mom and dad knew so it was fun to come and surprise Soph. We got out of class at 3:00, left by 3:15, and got there around 8:15 and went straight up to Skyview to the girl’s basketball game because that’s where my parents were. We raced in to see my mom who was waiting for us in the hall and then we followed her into the gym and walked up to Sophie who was looking at her phone and my mom said “Sophie look.” Then Sophie pretty much attacked the both of us. Payt wasn’t as excited as Sophie.. but what did we expect haha. After the games we had pizza and Joel was the best delivery guy ever!

The first thing Garrett and I did when we woke up was we opened our gifts that we got each other, just because I was too excited. Garrett was still pretty much asleep but that's ok! He got me this cute vest that I am wearing in all of these pictures from the weekend. And I got him his daily mountain dew, a plaid button up shirt, and a watch!

On Saturday we got up and my dad and Garrett went and played a round of golf while us girls went across town for some shopping which was fun! Then when we all got back we had the most DELICIOUS lunch! Go Robbin! We had ribs, baked potatoes, orange salad, and asparagus. Then we had crepes for dessert (Garrett’s favorite) so you could say that we ate well!

Then we helped Payton ask Harper Gellner to prom and it didn’t go as planned but it was pretty funny so we are glad she still said yes! After that we went to Sophie’s basketball game against Senior and she played SO good! It has been so fun to watch her grow and develop as a basketball player. She takes care of the ball so well! We loved watching her play! Then we came back for the Varsity game as well which was fun to watch. But where else would we be on a Saturday night during basketball season.

*Garrett was ready to watch girls basketball with the Mountain Dew my dad got him*

*This might be one of my favorite pictures ever*

On Sunday Garrett and I got to sub for CTR 6 in the primary and we had the best time! There was only 2 kids and they were the sweetest 2 kids! It was so fun to teach them and be back in primary. Then we ate Sunday dinner, napped, went for our Sunday drive with my parents and Soph, played Rook with my parents and hung out!

Yesterday we went to Target, Sam’s Club, ate at Fuddruckers with Payt and my mom, and went to Scheels on our way out of town. Also, today my dad started his new job and we are so excited for him! He will be awesome!
*Jumping for joy because we get to be each others
Valentine's forever/it was like spring time/why not*
Montana sent us back to Idaho with the VERY best view! Montana sunsets never disappoint.

Catching UP

Nothing too exciting has been happening lately. Just a few things that we have been up to...

We have been going on walks most nights during the week and we have loved it! The weather here has been crazy nice out so we like to get out and take a break from homework even though it is sometimes at like 11 oclock. We walked up to the temple the other night and it looked beautiful!

Since the Idaho Falls Temple is going to be rennovated and will be under construction for the next year and a half, we figured we better take advantage while it is still running. We had done baptisms there before but we really did have the best day in the temple!

We have also spent the last THREE Friday nights in the testing center. How horrible is that? I guess that's what you do when you are married. Hopefully our classes don't have us keep doing this though. We decided to celebrate Valentines Day a little early because we are have a 3 day weekend coming up and we are going to go out of town.

We went to Texas Roadhouse for dinner on Saturday night and let me tell you. It was DELICIOUS. We were starving so that probably helped. When we got there at 4:30, it was packed so we were sad when we were told we were going to have to wait 20 minutes but we ended up getting right in and we destroyed the rolls.

After we inhaled our dinner, we enjoyed our time at Target. I had to hold myself back to not buy anything except for the only thing we went for. The best candy EVER that only comes around during Valentines. Sweettart heart gummies are the BEST thing ever.

I have not been able to find them anywhere but at Target so everyone, RUN. Run fast to get them. They were 2 for 5 while we were there so we obviously had to buy 4 bags. I was tempted to buy all of them to keep throughout the year but we refrained.

After Target we walked around the mall, stopped at Winco, and a few other places while we were in the "big city" of Idaho Falls. When we got back Garrett made me sit in the bedroom while he did a few things. Then I came out and he had bought me the movie "The Best of Me" (I/we read the book on our Honeymoon. Mostly me but Garrett did have me read out loud to him). So we watched that and drank sparkling cider to end our pre-Valentines date and it was the best!

*This is Elle our favorite little girl and we fight over who gets to sit/hold her. But look at her, wouldn't you too? She's so dang sweet!*

We also went to dinner at the Hickory on Monday with Madeline and Tyler and sweet Elle! We had the best time! We will really miss them when they move in April.
But anyways, Happy Valentines Day! And only 2 more sleeps until our 3 day weekend! Woohoo!

Best day EVER: Part 2

After Garrett and I took all of our pictures with our families we were headed into the temple to get married. I just keep thinking about how busy our day was but it was so perfect! So here are the rest of our pictures from after we got married until the end of the night!

While Garrett and I were engaged and going to school in Rexburg we would walk up to the temple some nights and we would act like we just got married... don't judge us. And he would always say I'm going to do a heel click when we come out. I didn't really know if I believed him but he really did it and it was the best!

*Walking out of the temple was so overwhelming because there were so many people there. So we got to go around a hug everyone and say hi!*

*Below is my cousin Carson who did my hair and make up*
*This is my Grandma Williams (my mom's mom) I cannot even begin to thank her enough for everything she did to help with our wedding before the day and on the day. Thank you for growing flowers just for the reception. They were beautiful! You are amazing! Thank you Grandma for helping my mom and I so much. I love you*
*This is everyone who was at the temple for us after*

*This is who came from Wyoming on Garrett's side of the family!*
*My side of the family and some friends*
*My Grandma and Grandpa Stott (dad's parents)*

*My Grandpa Stott who was able to seal us together for time and all eternity*

*My Grandma and Grandpa Williams (mom's parents)*

*On the left is Garrett's dad's parents and on the right is Garrett's mom's mom*
*This is Monte and Verdon, Garrett's great aunt and uncle*
After the temple we went to my Grandma Williams' house and had a little luncheon to get some food in us before we went to take some pictures and before setting up the reception. We went with Chelsea out to her parent's house. They had the prettiest wheat field and a cool barn that they let us use to take our pictures and I LOVE how they turned out.

*How cute is he?*

So after these pictures we were driving back into town and we decided to fill up with gas so that after the reception we wouldn't have to. Garrett and I went into the gas station to get him his Mountain Dew and the lady gave it to us for free. You wouldn't believe how happy that made us haha. So when all of you get married remember that people give you free stuff if you're in a wedding dress and suit.

Like I said in my last post we decided to take all of our family pictures before the wedding so everyone wouldn't have to suffer through the heat and honestly that was so smart. After the temple it was warm so we tried to take pictures fast. But the hottest part of our day was when we were taking pictures at my Aunt and Uncles. We got so lucky!

After we got his pop we stopped by the park to see everyone who was setting up. I am soo grateful to both of our families for all of the hard work they did on our wedding day. Everything turned out so perfectly!

*This is me telling Garrett "do NOT get this on my dress"*
*Garrett was really enjoying his cupcake*

*My hair from the back*

*My Aunt Julie and Uncle Jack gave us this tandem bike for our wedding gift! We love it*

*Mr. Bertsch and I at the reception*

*My dad and my Uncle Jim*

 *Both of my grandmas*
Towards the end of the reception all of a sudden the wind came up really strong and everyone helped take everything down immediately and it was all down and in cars so fast. Then all of a sudden we had people cheering so clearly they were ready for us to leave..

Thank you to everyone who came and supported us on our wedding day. Thank you to everyone who sent us gifts, cards, or texts. We truly loved all of them. Thank you to our parents and siblings for all of their hard work that they did to help set up and take down everything. Thank you to everyone who traveled from far away to make it to our wedding. And thank you to Chelsea for taking all of these pictures for us to have forever. We love them and we love you! Thank you to my mom and grandma who put in so much time and effort before the wedding and on the wedding day to make it perfect. You guys did the best job! 6 months down eternity to go!
