2015 RECAP

We spent our New Years Eve at a cabin with Garrett's family and we didn't stay up to ring in 2016 but Garrett and I did do a little reflecting on our past year!

First I wanted to share this--on instagram their was a thing going around called instagramsbestnine and it compiled your top nine liked pictures for the year and it brought back all kinds of memories.
We celebrated our first wedding anniversary, Graham our second nephew was born, Payton won a state championship, drove across the country and many other great things happened! We both agreed that the best thing that happened was when we were finally back together again after being apart for 3ish months.

1. Last New Years was spent in Billings with my family eating at Rio Sabina's and playing rook with my parents!

2. We came back to school and our house had no water, electricity, heat, NOTHIN. Our neighbors apartments had flooded so we spent the first week of school scrambling all over the place and living in a hotel! We made the best of it by jumping on the beds, swimming, and eating continental breakfast.
3. Celebrated our first married Valentine's a little early and then the real one in Billings with my family watching basketball!

4. Our second nephew Graham was born!

5. We went to state basketball in Butte to watch Payt and his team become state champs for the first time in school's history!

6. We got a selfie stick and it was used many many times.

7. Garrett sold pest control for Alterra in Washington D.C. while I stayed in Rexburg and went to school. Worst decision we've ever made. To be honest that was the hardest time ever in my life. I have never felt worse or struggled so much emotionally, spiritually, or mentally. The lesson from this was that there is nothing more important than family. So we face timed a lot...

One benefit of this was that we got to see and do a lot of things we never would have if not for this opportunity!
