Catch up!

These past few weeks have been very busy and quite stressful! We are officially registered for our last semester of school! We will be graduating in April! There were a lot of ups and downs for me to make it possible for me to register. It was like everyday for like 6 days something bad would happen and then it would get worked out. But we are so thankful for our Heavenly Father and know that he is always looking out for us. Since Halloween we have seen Graham quite a few times and love that he loves us and recognizes us. We have made multiple trips to Porter's, Garrett has been loving that but we are also loving our house that has taken on Christmas mode and a newly rearranged living room! I keep thinking, why didn't we do this before?!

Some exciting news that happened about two weeks ago is that I passed my Multiple Subject Praxis Exam!! It was a four hour long test with four different subjects including english, math, science, and social studies and I PASSED ALL FOUR THE FIRST TIME! It was the biggest relief! I am so so grateful and happy! All day and even the next day I kept saying to Garrett, "I passed the praxis."

Last week we were in need of a break so we headed to Idaho Falls on Friday after classes to look for Christmas ideas and run some errands. Earlier that day I saw on Instagram that one of my best friends growing up was with her team in Pocatello playing a college basketball game. So we obviously had to go. It took us a while to find where they were playing but we finally did, the gym smelled horrible but it was SO good to see her. Garrett was happy to hear that we were going to watch basketball and not volleyball. We are both very happy that basketball season is here again. It might be our favorite season of the year, well at least mine. I was so good to take the day off and just enjoy each others company!

It had been so long since we had taken a picture so yes, I made Garrett take pictures outside the mall.. and I'm glad I did because I love them.

Idaho blessed us with a beautiful sunset to stare at while driving to Pocatello.

I love getting pictures from parents at basketball games while we enjoy one ourselves. Basketball season is in full force with the Stott family.

It was so good to see Kaitlyn and catch up with her! Growing up I played basketball and soccer with her! My dad and her mom were our coaches and let's just say we were a pretty good team. Her mom was like my second mom until they moved when I was in 6th grade. Love you Kaitlyn, keep killing it on the floor! Wish I was out there with you!

On a side note, I have been making freezer meals with Katrina and LOVING it. They are so easy and nice to have on hand with our busy schedules. I don't know why I haven't made them before but I know for sure that I will continue making them. One of the meals we made was teriyaki chicken and then we put it over rice with cabbage salad and it tasted like it came straight from noodle express.

We will be busy until the end of the semester but really enjoyed Garrett's birthday and Thanksgiving break in Lander! More to come on that soon!

Halloween 2015

Since last Halloween we have been excited for the Jacob's Halloween party! We had the best time last year and this year did not disappoint. We had the hardest time trying to decide what to be for the party because we didn't want to spend a ton of money but we of course needed to dress up. So after a lot of debating we came up with... PARTY ANIMALS! To be party animals we first needed our masks. We spent a total of $4 to make our masks but a lot of our time.

Garrett is the crafty one in this relationship and quite the perfectionist so I should have known it would take a few hours. The process looked like this:

Graham was the first to try the fox on and he wore it pretty well..

To carry on the Halloween spirit we carved our pumpkin on Monday for Family Home Evening. More like Garrett carved it, I was just there for support and to keep him company (I've never enjoyed carving pumpkins).
On a side note we helped Elle and David move to their new apartment on Friday night! We are so happy that they are in a nicer/ bigger place! Graham was my little buddy all night and in the best mood. I just love him so dang much.
On Saturday we were prepping for our Halloween party! We were asked to bring a few items to the party and they turned out to be a hit!! We were we were quite proud of how they turned out.

Before we headed to the party we had to take some pictures to help get us party animals ready to party! Our masks, some party clothes, sparkling cider, and some apple beer and we were ready to go!

A few drinks and we were ready to party ;)

We may of had to explain our costumes but once they got it, they enjoyed it! They had so much food and it was all so good! We played ping pong, pool, ate, played werewolf, ate some more, and played signs! In between our partying and eating we ran home really fast so that we could have one trick-or-treater for the night!

Elle David and Graham stopped by so that we could see their outfits. So Peter Pan, his shadow, and Wendy flew by to see us.
He actually does like us, we promise. Who do you think got him to smile in the pic above?

After they flew away we headed back to the party! Us with the Turtles!
A few food highlights at the party were...

and the chips and guac were also delicious I could have eaten that all night! Thank you to the Jacob's for another great party, we will miss it next year! We love you guys! Happy Halloween from the PARTY ANIMALS!

Wish we could have had this sweet little pumpkin come trick or treating to see us too!

Family Filled Fall

We have been super busy with school but we have also been busy with family!! We have been lucky enough to have Garrett's parents come visit and my mom and grandma!

Garrett's parents came down the weekend after conference and were here from Friday to Sunday! It was so fun to see them! We went and saw Garrett's cousins and their sweet babies, went for a walk, and of course played phase 10. On Saturday morning Vince and Garrett got up and went golfing for probably the last time together this season. Later Debbie and I walked over and met them at the golf course, watched the last few holes, had a chipping and putting contest and then headed to Idaho Falls. We ate a delicious meal at Texas Roadhouse, did a little shopping, and hit up SAM's club. Saturday night we watched Cokeville Miracle together at home and loved it! Such a good and inspiring story. We loved having them here!!
3 sleeps after Debbie and Vince left, my mom and grandma came for a few days! The first night that we were here, Garrett had his flag football game so he had a fan section of 5. My mom and grandma loved watching him play and Garrett put on quite the show by scoring 2 touchdowns. Throughout the week we spent a lot of time shopping and watching Graham while Elle worked.

Between my Mom, Garrett, and I he got many loves, gave us many laughs, and plenty of time holding the basketball football. Thursday night we went to Pizza Pie Cafe (the four of us) ate a delicious meal and gave us quite the time trying to entertain Graham as well.

While mom and grandma got ready for bed one night we took over her bed and took her lady reading glasses. We kept them up a little later than they are used to. But our house our rules.
On Saturday we went in to Idaho Falls and did a little shopping and went to the pumpkin patch! We went to U-Pick Red Barn and saw a lot of pumpkins but found the perfect one!

My Grandma helped me make my wreath later that night, we had dinner with Elle and David and made a late night grocery run to make gluten free pumpkin bars and let me tell ya, it was worth it. My mom and I dreamed about them for days.

We have loved having so many visitors this fall and of course love spending time with family! We are already so excited for Thanksgiving and Christmas!
