We survived the semester!! It was a long stressful week of
finals but we are so happy to have another semester down. This means that I
have 3 left and Garrett has 2 semesters left at BYU-I! As soon as our final was
over we booked it out of Rexburg. It always feels so good to leave for a little
bit. So we headed for Lander for a long weekend!
*Since Garrett and I will be driving through plenty of states this year we are going to
take a picture at all the state signs*
got there Friday afternoon
and we were there maybe 30 minutes before Garrett and Vince left to go golfing.
So Debbie and I went on a long walk to her mom’s house and visited with her and
Debbie’s sister who was in town. Then we walked back and the boys still weren’t
home so we made dinner and waited for them. Saturday the boys got up and left
early to go snowmobiling so Debbie and I slept in and went for another long walk
with Mack, ran some errands, and kind of just hung out. The boys got done
fairly early compared to usual so they came home and went golfing again. Debbie
and I went to Tony’s pizza for dinner and I got their gluten free pizza and let
me tell ya, it was DELICIOUS. Best gluten free pizza I’ve had.

When the boys decided to join us at home we played lots of
Skip-Bo, Rummikub, and some Rook. On Sunday Vince, Garrett, and I drove to
church together in Annabelle and when we came out we came out to a dead car. We
jumped it and it got us back to the house but we had to get a new battery so on
Monday we did that, cleaned out the car, and finished out FAFSA. On Monday it
was Debbie’s birthday so we went out to lunch at the China Garden, played
games, went to the church and played spikeball, which was so fun! Then she
opened presents, we made ice cream, played rook, and hit the hay. It was a fun
weekend to spend with them! Mack was loving me all weekend. We think that he
thought I was Garrett’s sister Micah because he would not leave me alone. It
was pretty funny! We will miss them all, including Mack!

I am so so grateful
for awesome in-laws who have been so welcoming and have made me feel so
comfortable! After our few days in Lander we headed to Billings! As soon as we made it to our driveway, Payton was ready to go golfing with Garrett. My mom and I had gone to Target and as soon as we were walking in the house they were on the 18th tee box so of course I had to run take a picture.
Then we played with the selfie stick..
Wednesday while everyone was in school Garrett and I went to my Grandma William's house and she helped us make a wreath because she is crazy talented. This is the final product that is now hanging on our door. We LOVE it! Can't wait to make the next one!
Then after we made our wreath we went and saw the movie "The Longest Ride." It was SO good! I already want to go see it again. We took my parents popcorn bucket and had the best time!
Thursday was fun because my mom didn't have to teach so we kind of just ran around town looking at different things and running errands. We went out to where my dad is working now and got to see what he is doing and where he is! Then we went to lunch at Mooyah with them. As you can see they have a huge chalk board that was empty when we got there so Garrett of course drew on it!
*And they have the CUTEST cow pictures and if you know me, I love cows*
Thursday night we went to the driving range with my parents and Sophie and hit a bucket of balls and did some chipping!
*These are my feelings after I topped the ball*
*Check out that form*
After golfing we went to the new ice cream place in Billings called The Big Dipper that is downtown! It was delicious and so cute! We recommend the Huckleberry! Because we now have a selfie stick we of course had to take a picture. It was so funny! Everyone was staring and we were struggling to get it figured out. But I didn't even care. So enjoy...
Friday before we left for Rexburg we went and played Rook with my Grandma and Grandpa Stott which is always fun! Then we left before my parents so that we could get organized and clean the house before my family got here. My parents and Payt and Soph came down Friday after school because Elle and David blessed Graham today. Saturday morning the boys got up and went golfing and Sophie, my mom and I went and saw Graham, got my books and went to Porters. Then we met up with them for lunch at Pizza Pie Cafe.
*He's so happy because I gave him this outfit and because I'm his favorite.*
*We told the boys to take a selfie and this is what we got. At least Payt listened*
Saturday night we went to a park and had dinner with our family and David's family who was in town. We ate, laughed, played football, and watched Lincoln. It was so funny because Lincoln was eating and my dad started massaging him and he was loving it!
*This is me beating Sophie in football*
Because it was the weekend of the new semester there was some extra family members in town for Graham's blessing today! It was fun to spend time with everyone!
After the blessing we had a little breakfast at our place with everybody and then everyone went their separate ways!
Proud Grandpa Joel!
It was a great spring break although it was wayyy too short! Had so much fun with our families! Now back to school for me tomorrow! Wahhhh.
