STATE CHAMPS

On Friday we headed to Butte with my mom to go to State basketball! She was here all week helping Elle and David with Graham. We stopped to take a picture with the Montana State sign.

We watched games all day long on Friday, and our boys won their semifinal game against Capital. Payt still had a broken wrist and he couldn't play which was such a bummer. We stayed with the Hoagland's who were sweet enough to let us all stay with them. We spent all of our time at the Butte Civic Center and for one weekend of the year (the best weekend of the year) we watch basketball and it is the best!

We also went and checked out the Berkeley Pit to waste a little time and it was so windy we almost blew over. 

 Everyone gets mad when I try to take pictures, but they will thank me later.

On Saturday we got up and went to the 2 loser out games in the morning, ate lunch, then went back to the gym to find our seats for the rest of the night. 

The Skyview played West High for the Championship. We had already beaten then twice during the year. The second time is when Payton was going up for a lay up and then got undercut and got his wrist broken. We were so sad for him but he has handled it so well throughout this whole season. 

They started by announcing everyone and then the game started.

 It was a close game the whole time, and came down til the very end.

The game ended and Skyview came out on top. Winning a state championship is SO GREAT. But when you beat West to get your win it is even better!

Congratulations to the Skyview Boys Basketball team, coaches, and especially Payton! So proud of how you have handled all of this! Congrats to all the history that has been made!

BABY GRAHAM

This weekend was a crazy weekend with family! Garrett's family came to town to visit just to see us and see where we live! It was so fun to see them and to catch up! On Friday when they got to town we headed to Idaho Falls to go to Buffalo Wild Wings which was requested by Garrett! It was of course delicious! Then we went bowling and that was of course really fun! Vince was really good of course, Garrett and I struggled which was funny! But it was still really fun!

Later that night my mom and Sophie made it to town! They came because Elle was going to be induced on Saturday morning! Sophie stayed the night at our place and the next morning we got up at 6:15 to meet Elle to take a few last pictures before she had the baby!

Garrett, Vince and Colby went golfing in the morning and had a good time! Vince got clubs and Garrett was very happy about that! We've been having this crazy spring weather already in March and we are loving it!

While they golfed I went to the hospital with my mom and Soph and then went to lunch and did some shopping! We were just dying while we waited all day. Since Elle was still at about a 5 I headed to Idaho Falls with the Irene's to go to SAMS Club. As soon as we got there, my mom called and said Elle was 10! We spent a lot of time in SAMS and then I headed back to Rexburg to be with them while we waited to hear the news. Garrett stayed with his family and they went and ran some errands and went to some stores.

Elle finally had her baby at 6:10 pm on March 7, 2015. He was 6 pounds 12 ounces, 20 1/2 inches long and perfect in every way. His name is Graham Reeves Lovato and we love him! Garrett and I now have two nephews and we love it!

We had the best weekend! We are happy to have baby Graham so close to us! 

HERE COMES MARCH

We switched out our Valentine heart decorations for our new shamrock ones and we are loving them! March is going to be fun and exciting!

We have just been busy with school and spending time with the Vance's! Last Saturday Tyler and Garrett were besides themselves they were so excited to go snowboarding up at Grand Targhee. After the second run they collided. Tyler slid on his bottom and Garrett went to jump over his legs and his snowboard cut through Tyler's snowboard pants, sweats, his skin, and all the way down to his bone. 

Their day ended shortly after they spent it at the hospital in Driggs and then Rexburg...

Garrett went over to give him a blessing and I told him to come back with Elle and he did :))

Since Tyler couldn't go snowboarding anymore he asked his son from the mission CJ to come up from Utah to go with him. It was fun to see him again and they had the BEST day! They only said it was "The Perfect Day" like 20 times! 

On a side note we have been obssessing over this picture of Emmett since we got it. I mean, look at those eyes!

This weekend we went to a ward dinner party and then afterwards we watched Elle so that Tyler and Madeline could go on a miniature date and then we watched the BYU vs. Gonzaga game with them! We had so much fun babysitting because Elle was so happy and she was laughing and screaming so loud! It was so fun!

Although we haven't been doing anything too exciting this next week will be! My sister Elle is going to be induced on Saturday the 7th so we will be getting a new nephew within the next week! We cannot wait to meet him! 

Since there will be a new nephew that means my mom will be coming to town which makes me happy too! I can't wait to see her! 

Also, Garrett's family is going to come down to Rexburg just to come visit this weekend as well! It will be fun to see and spend time with them! So it is going to be a busy and exciting week with a lot of family involved!
